The English Greyhound Derby is the most prestigious race on the UK calendar, with the first race being run in 1927. Entry Badge was the first ever winner, when it won at White City. The English Greyhound Derby was run at White City until 1984, when the stadium closure resulted in the Classic race moving to Wimbledon Stadium. The last dog to win the English greyhound derby twice was Westmead Hawk in 2005 and 2006. Only 4 dogs have ever acheived this.
