Victor Chandler is a British bookmaker with long history. The company was founded in 1946. Victor Chandler (the chairman of the company) is the third generation of Chandlers to run the business. His grandfather, Victor Chandler senior originally set up the company by building Walthamstow Greyhound Stadium in North London. His father expanded the business further by setting up a chain of 40 betting shops around the United Kingdom. During 62 years business had expanded worldwide. The Chandler Group now has customers in over 160 countries, employs over 500 people worldwide and has extensive operations in the UK, Europe and Far East. The company operates in Gibraltar.
